Dance has lost two of its greatest contributors in the span of a month – Pina Bausch and Merce Cunningham. I don’t think I can say anything that will compare to the commentary offered by the seasoned and expert patrons, dancers & critics that exist…I just had to post about it and offer a moment of personal reverence and respect to these awe-inspiring artists/cultural producers who are no longer with us.
Makes me wonder though: who will the next Pina and Merce be? Where are they now and what are they doing?
